OP - deep breath. Take a break. Yes, it's normal. It takes longer for some people than for others. I've been at this for a year and a half (after being single for 5 years following a divorce)... nothing has lasted longer than two months. I got really frustrated earlier this year and took a break from "trying" for a while. It helped me a lot.
